Admission procedure
LIK currently offers fourteen professional bachelor programmes in the fields of aeronautical, civil, electrical and electronic, mechanical and transport engineering as well as environmental engineering. LIK has two faculties: Faculty of Industrial Engineering and Technology and Faculty of Environmental Engineering. You can find the list of our programmes and their descriptions here
To get access to higher education in Lithuania, foreign qualifications need to be recognized.
You will need to send the required documents to Lietuvos inzinerijos kolegija HEI in order to get your qualifications recognized.
A completed Application form (Faculty of Industrial Engineering and Technology), Application form (Faculty of Environmental Engineering), the proof of the application fee payment, secondary school certificates and transcripts, their translations, and proof of ID shall be sent to admission@lik.tech .
Entry requirements are the same for all degrees.
For your application to be considered, an entry score of 7/10 is required. The entry score is calculated by averaging out your final-year grades, or results in the final examinations (whichever is provided in the transcript of records; if both, whichever grade is higher) in the following subjects: Mathematics, English, Physics, Chemistry/IT. For the faculty of Environmental Engineering, Biology and Geography are also taken into account when counting the entry score. If your transcript includes letter grades or grades in a non-decimal grading system, their equivalents in the Lithuanian decimal system will be established during the recognition and admission process and used for the calculation.
If English is not your first language, you need to provide evidence of your ability to understand and express yourself in English for academic purposes. We require the following scores from international English examinations.

Educational documents
- Official legalised copy of secondary education certificate and grade transcript
- Proof of English proficiency
- CV, proof of relevant professional experience, references as well as any relevant qualifications and certifications are optional, but will be taken into account

- Notarised copy of your passport
- One recent passport-size photograph (3x4)
Financial documents
- A document showing sufficient means to cover tuition fees, means for subsistence and the funds for return. As proof of your ability to cover your tuition fees, we accept a bank statement (original, legalised) if you cover your fees yourself, or a statement of a family member or employer (original, legalised) confirming that they will be covering your fees. Regarding documents that qualify as proof of sufficient means for subsistence and return, please contact the migration service.
To have your application processed, you need to transfer a fee of 100 EUR to the following account.

All admission candidates (both faculties) are required to pass a mathematics exam prepared by the university as part of the application process: they must complete a university-designed test to demonstrate their proficiency and meet the entry requirements for their chosen program. This exam ensures that applicants possess the foundational math skills necessary for academic success in their studies. The passing threshold is 70 per cent.
As part of the admissions process, candidates must successfully complete an interview in English, allowing the admissions team to evaluate their language skills, clarity of expression, and readiness for an English-speaking academic environment as well as the overall motivation of the candidate.
You will receive our offer within 15 working days. Then, you will have another 15 working days to accept it and transfer the tuition fee for two years of studies to this account

After receiving the tuition fee from you, our International Relations Office will inform you about the next steps to get your Temporary Residence Permit.
The annual tuition fee paid (excluding 20 per cent of the annual tuition fee in bank fees) may be refunded if you cannot obtain the permit, or if you do not arrive to start your studies and submit a justified request explaining the reasons of your absence.
All the international students who intend to study at a higher education institution registered and operating in Lithuania (full-time studies) or to work as a teacher or researcher under an employment contract, apply for a Temporary Residence Permit.
