Career day "Engineering vision of the future" was held at Kaunas University of Applied Engineering Sciences on November 9th: the event attracted great interest from students and companies.
28 companies of various profiles took part in the event: UAB Doresta, UAB Scania Lithuania, UAB TSPI, UAB Energia Futura, UAB Agrokoncernas, UAB Baltec CNC Technologies, UAB Kitron, UAB HELLA Lithuania, AB Kelių priežiūra, UAB Continental Automotive Lithuania/ UAB Continental Autonomous Mobility Lithuania, UAB Trelo, UAB Peikko Lietuva, UAB Elinta Robotics, UAB TETAS, UAB Axioma Metering, UAB Freda, UAB Freda II, UAB YIT Lietuva, AB Kauno Tiltai, Mondelez International, UAB FL Technics, UAB Žilinskis&Co, Projektai&Co, Magnetic MRO AS, UAB J&C Aero, Kaunas Aircraft Maintenace Services (KAMS), UAB Adampolis, UAB Auto Akstė.
KTK director dr. Lina Girdauskienė gave an opening speech for the career day which was followed by the corporate award ceremony. The Academic Council has made a decision to award UAB Kitron, UAB HELLA Lithuania, UAB Continental Automotive Lithuania/ UAB Continental Autonomous Mobility Lithuania, UAB TETAS, UAB YIT Lietuva, AB Kauno Tiltai, UAB Teltonika networks, UAB Fegda, AB Ignitis grupė, UAB Parama patron medals for the financial support and their active involvement in the career day “Engineering Vision of the Future”.
Students had the opportunity to ask questions and solve their doubts. Furthermore, the event was the perfect place to do networking, exchange contacts, discuss the prospects of the latest technologies and participate in games organized by the companies. The future engineers also had the chance to expand their knowledge by listening to various interesting and informative presentations done by the visiting companies.
