Kaunas University of Applied Engineering Sciences invited everybody to take part in the annual conference SYNERGY OF INDUSTRY AND SCIENCE FOR SUSTAINABLE FUTURE which was held on November 30th in Kaunas University of Applied Engineering Sciences.

The conference day was opened with the plenary session where KTK representatives and guests from Continental Automotive Lithuania and Kaunas Region Industrialists' and Employers' Association discussed the role of the university in developing students’ career opportunities, companies’ expectations and ability to contribute to students’ career, sustainable career development opportunities for students and other pressing issues in nowadays job market.

After closing the plenary session, an exciting moment came for those who had previously participated in KTK and Continental Automotive Lithuania Robotics Hackathon: the winners were announced and awarded with the money prizes funded by Continental Automotive Lithuania and souvenirs from KTK.

The first place was earned by GURMANAI with 429 points, AUTOBOTAI got the second place with 330 points and finally MEGATRONIKAI took the third place with 295 points. Once again, we would like to congratulate all the teams and all the participants for their enthusiasm, creativity and the eagerness to learn while also having fun!

After the awards, it was time for the conference SYNERGY OF INDUSTRY AND SCIENCE FOR SUSTAINABLE FUTURE where research on electronics and electrical engineering systems, technological research on land and air transport, research on the efficiency of modern material processing technologies, research on sustainable construction and road engineering solutions and research on the development of engineering and general competences through the implementation of the concept of lifelong learning were discussed online by the members of KTK academic community.
