Folk art festival „Žiemos ratelis" was held in Kaunas Cultural Center (Kauno kultūros centras) on December 2nd.
The 70th anniversary of Kaunas University of Applied Engineering Sciences folk dance group “Pušynėlis” was celebrated during the festival as well as the 45th work anniversary of Kęstutis Pušinaitis as the folk dance group director.
"Pušynėlis" received many congratulations from various institutions: Lithuanian National Culture Center, the mayor of Kaunas, and other student folk dance groups all honored "Pušynėlis" with their presence and beautiful words.
The head of Kaunas University of Applied Engineering Sciences administration Nerijus Varnas congratulated everybody and awarded the most active dancers and leaders with the diploma.
The director Kęstutis Pušinaitis was honorably given the Third degree Julijonas Gravrokas Medal of Honor for his 45 year work anniversary and all the merits.
