LIK in Erasmus+ intensive course Skillset and Mindset for Intercultural Communication in Higher Education Settings

Representatives of Lietuvos Inzinerijos Kolegija HEI, Assoc. Prof. Giedrė Adomavičienė, Lect. Inga Dagilienė, Assoc. Prof. Valda Gudynaitė-Franckevičienė, Assoc. Prof. Dovilė Gustienė, and Assoc. Prof. Esmeralda Štyps, participated in the Erasmus+ intensive course "Skillset and Mindset for Intercultural Communication in Higher Education Settings."

Theoretical knowledge and best practices were shared, and various issues arising in intercultural communication were discussed. The training was enriched by interactive workshops covering communication styles, intercultural aspects, and self-reflection in action, as well as fostering a deeper understanding of one's own culture. During the meeting, institutional guidelines on "Intercultural Communication for Higher Education" were developed.

During a visit to the international company Printful Riga Office, the topic of intercultural diversity management in corporate culture was explored. Additionally, aspects of intercultural cooperation in public institutions were discussed at the National Library of Latvia.

It was also an honor to attend the opening of the ACE2-EU Alliance SPACE Centre.
