The ACE2EU project officially launched with a highly successful kick-off meeting held on December 9-10, 2024, in Madrid. Representatives from Lietuvos inzinerijos kolegija Higher Education Institution and the other partner organizations (Spain, Portugal, North Macedonia, Poland, Romania, Germany, Latvia and Austria) gathered to chart the course for this ambitious initiative, setting the stage for transformative collaboration across Europe.

The two-day event began with a warm welcome and introductory session, providing the attendees with an overview of the ACE2EU project’s vision, goals, and expected outcomes of the project. The workshops of the work packages were focused on defining priorities, milestones, and deliverables for the upcoming phases of the project. In addition, Participants exchanged ideas and insights, leveraging their diverse expertise to shape a unified roadmap.

With the kick-off meeting successfully concluded, ACE2EU is poised to move forward with its mission. The next steps involve implementing initial action plans, setting up operational frameworks, and engaging with broader communities to maximize impact. All in all, the meeting was a successful way to foster connections between organizations, paving the way for strong partnerships and collaboration as well as define the future goals and the steps to take in the forthcoming years.
