Kaunas University of Applied Engineering Sciences hosted a National Pie Day on November 7th. 

The main purpose of the event was to donate money and dedicate the collected funds to „Vaikų svajonės“, which is a project aiming at improving the life of children living under socially challenging conditions. A symbolic sum of 220 euros was donated during the event.

The members of the university community not only enjoyed the treats they had baked, but also voted for the tastiest and most beautiful pies. Džiuginta Baltrušienė's cake was recognized as the tastiest, and Ramutė Bražiūnienė's pie was chosen as the most beautiful one.
